This was my first time using AirBNB. From the first contact, Ramon was extremely helpful, followed up with every request and everything was exactly as advertised. We stayed, preceding a seven day cruise. The apartment was perfect for five of us and in a great location. Very clean, comfortable, and easy. The Host: Ramon. He responded quickly to my (many) emails and made sure all of my questions were addressed. We decided to use the transportation service offered by the apartments for the five of us (and our many pieces of luggage). The poor driver had to wait 2 hours for us to get through passport inspection at the airport: Too many people, not enough passport stations (due to construction?). Our poor driver (Manuel) waited the entire time and was so sweet about it. He assisted with our luggage and dropped us off at the corner near the apartment to meet Maria. Maria (also very sweet) walked us to the apartment, provided a tour and the keys, reviewed the house rules and processed the paperwork and the deposit. Ramon came by later to provide additional bedding that we needed and verified that everything was working for us. Very nice! Would highly recommend Ramon and the Stay Barcelona Apartments. The Apartment: Luxury 3-Bdrm centric apartment with terrace. Very clean. Bedrooms comfortable and well appointed. Bathrooms nice size (with American size showers). We shopped at a nearby grocery store and had coffee and breakfast in the apartment, snacks, and a light supper. Worked out great. It was located steps to a main walking boulevard, the Catalonia Square, and public transportation. Close to grocery store, markets, lots of great restaurants and tapas bars. In the heart of everything. There is also a very nice private outdoor space, which was accessible by going through any of the bedroom window/doors, and also the roof top space which had a pool and a GREAT view, especially nice at sunset.
